Membership in the
Alliance has many benefits, including:
 | A quarterly newsletter
that includes in-depth articles relating to orchids in the Odontoglossum
alliance. Typically the newsletters include information on
conservation, culture, hybridization, new species, judging, and historical
information. |
| An annual meeting held
in conjunction with a major orchid show or AOS Trustee's meeting in areas
with climates conducive to growing Odontoglossums. These
meetings usually include presentations related to orchids in the Odontoglossum
alliance, tours of private and commercial greenhouses in the area that grow
orchids of the Odontoglossum alliance, a dinner with members and
their guests, and an auction of Odontoglossum alliance plants. Our
next meeting will be held in Hilo, Hawaii in March, 2003 in conjunction with the
AOS Trustee's meeting. |
